About us

Giasedin Jamshid Kashani University has been upgraded to the university in July 2018 by the permission No. 54295/2 issued by Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology. Today, the university performs its educational mission by the admission of students in the fields of sciences, engineering, and humanities at the continuous and non-continuous bachelor of science degree, master degree, and associate’s degree. In addition to research affairs, the development of technology and communication with industry is also one of the main aims of the university, which has been formed through fundamental research and implementation of industrial and entrepreneurial projects. It is worth noting cultural and student activities are considered as the main fields for growing the students in this university.

Giasedin Jamshid Kashani University is active in four deputies including “Educational”, “Research, and Technology”, “Student and Culture” and “Development of Management and Resources”, in three faculties such as “Electric and Computer”, “Civil and Mechanic” and “Industrial Engineering & Management “.

The university also aims to improve hardware and supplies for laboratories in the fields of electronics, telecommunications, mechanics, civil engineering, robotics, simulation, and modeling, held computer workshops, and build architecture studios.

Based on the needs of the geographical area of Qazvin province and surrounding towns such as Abyek city, which is located in a region with a suitable population for industrial development, Giasedin Jamshid Kashani University can lead developing new technologies related to new computer technologies in order to provide the necessary facilities for educating the native and non-native specialists. We hope that the scientific activities of the university be effective in enhancing the economic and cultural conditions of the region.
